Developed a Summer course on Digitalisation and the Future of Work in Africa for the International Relations Department of Webster University Campus Leiden. The course is for two levels and taught in separate groups: one syllabus for bachelor students and a more advanced syllabus for master students. As a diplomacy and policy practitioner Marije Balt provides students with real-world experience in their subject areas, enabling them to combine theory and practical applications in the classroom, through role play and simulations. She teaches once a week on topics such as politics of development, politics of peace, international organisations, international security and human rights. Webster University Leiden is an American-accredited university, with campuses on four continents and students representing nearly every country in the world.
